My Work

The following galleries contain a sampling of websites, print pieces, and logos that I've created over the years for both Koppers Performance Chemicals and Envision Technology Advisors.

Websites Designed + Built

Made while with Koppers Performance Chemicals (KPC)

  • KPC Homepage

The Koppers Performance Chemicals website above represents the United States. There is a toggle in the header that links to KPC Australia, Brazil, Canada, New Zealand, and UK versions of the site.

  • KUS Homepage

The website above is for Koppers Utility Services — a Business Unit of Koppers Holdings, Inc.

Made while with Envision Technology Advisors

The following homepage designs are ancient, in terms of more modern web standards. They are more than 10 years old, in most cases, so they are no longer live. They have all been redesigned since moving on from Envision in 2017. These images are the only remnants of my involvement and certainly show their age — but here they are.

Print Design

Made for Koppers Holdings, Inc.

Koppers Corporate Communications

I designed the covers for Koppers Holdings’ Annual Report and Proxy Statement booklets for board members and investors on a yearly basis.

Made while with Envision Technology Advisors

Key Program

I designed the following series of brochures for the Key Program as recruiting tools to help bring in new Entry-Level Case Workers, Undergraduate, and Graduate Interns. When folded in thirds, these pieces measure 5.8" square.

Concord OB/GYN

I created this oversized post card for Concord OB/GYN to mail and hand out within their office to announce the launch of their new website to make patients aware of the resources available to them on this new site. Admittedly, the baby image is somewhat creepy — but they were jazzed about it.

In addition to this piece, I also designed new business cards for all their physicians, new first and second page letterhead, envelopes and a sticker sealer.

Logo Design

  • Koppers College Logo
  • Concord OB/GYN Logo
  • Ground Control Logo
  • HoGo Logo
  • New Enlang Laser & Wellness Center Logo
  • RI Business Group on Health Logo
  • ENOW Logo

Sarah worked with KLR's Marketing team and was nothing short of fantastic. She was helpful, exhibited great work ethic and always came through when we needed her. Her knowledge of design/websites is excellent. It was a pleasure working with Sarah for over a decade.

About

In The Office

I'm an accomplished web and print designer specializing in web development with a strong graphic design background. I'm well-versed in multiple CMS platforms, SEO techniques, and understand the importance of optimizing content for search engines while maintaining a conversational and engaging tone. All with a keen eye on performance, aesthetics, and ADA accessibility across all screen sizes and devices.

I'm a team player with a long, successful track record in project management, marketing and customer relations. I enjoy working closely with customers and internal teams to deliver the best possible digital and print collateral to bring brand identities to life, while adhering to business objectives, project budgets, timelines, and goals.

In the Community

There have been occasions where I've had the honor of being asked to lend my voice and experience to young people having an interest in web development, that wanted to learn more about the field. I've conducted guest lectures to high school seniors at The Wheeler School in Providence, who had chosen to design websites for their final class projects, and provided them with technical guidance and constructive feedback.

In My Spare Time

When not pushing pixels around, I enjoy touring art, natural history, and oddity museums, beachcombing, cinema, live music, and site seeing interesting places. I live in Peachtree City, Georgia with my husband, our 18 year old son, and our dogs. We relocated here 8 years ago from Rhode Island.

Education

Rhode Island School of Design — BFA

in Illustration with a heavy leaning toward digital and website design. Graduated with honors.
